About this position
The Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for developing and managing business development activities within the commercial construction sector across Alberta (AB), British Columbia (BC), and the USA with the aim of identifying opportunities for Almita’s Installer Network (IN) and Almita’s project teams. This includes such activities as generating leads, qualifying client and tracking progress of projects. This position not only locates opportunities for work, but also identifies new prospective members for the IN.
Key Accountabilities
- Accountable for achieving Western Canada’s revenue generation targets in the Almita Commercial and Installer Network portfolios.
- Provide support in the development of Regional sales and marketing strategies, and materials to effectively sell the benefits of partnering with Almita to potential Installer Network clients and partners
- Build a strong, sustainable pipeline of Installer Network clients and partners in Western Canada and the USA, including conducting market research and analysis to understand where opportunities for partnerships can be effectively leveraged.
- Establish strong internal relationships, and processes to ensure the operation will be resourced effectively to support sales and customer service expectations.
- Continue to attract new Installers to Almita.
- Target municipal regulatory bodies with the objective of elevating the industry standard for helical piles.
- Identify, and participate in industry events such as conferences and tradeshows that assist in growing the Commercial and IN business.
- Assist Sales management in the development in strategic sales plan for the region.
- Maintain a cadence of updating Amita’s CRM with current client information.
- Provide recommendations to enhance marketing strategy and assist in the implementation.
- Identify key general contractors, and engineering firms and develop a strategy to generate revenue.
- Develop a plan to educate geotechnical, engineering firms, and owner operators on helical pile applications and influence the use of helical piles.
Experience
- 3 years of outside sales experience
- Degree or diploma in business, marketing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment sales and/or operations.
- Background in commercial construction.
- Knowledge of business principles involved in resource allocation, production methods and coordination
- Strong Microsoft Office skills

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn on worksites as per company and client policies
