About the Role
Almita Piling is seeking a results-driven and self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow and support our Installer Network (IN). In this role, you'll identify new business opportunities, generate leads, support project development, and help expand our network of installation partners. It’s the perfect role for someone who thrives on connecting with people, solving problems, and delivering value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying tailored solutions.
- Own the sales process from initial contact through to contract finalization.
- Conduct market research and proactively seek out new opportunities.
- Maintain detailed client and project information in our CRM.
- Develop sales documents including proposals and contracts.
- Grow a robust pipeline through strategic outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Almita.
- Identify and engage new installer partners for our expanding network.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to internal training as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in equipment, construction, or manufacturing.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction and/or operational environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment
- Hybrid role with frequent regional travel to meet clients and attend events.
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- 40-hour work week with flexibility for evenings and weekends when needed.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $74,000CAD – $78,000CAD
- Commission: your earnings grow with your results
- Extras: vehicle allowance, and a great benefits package (including health & dentals and matching RRSP program)
