Role Purpose:
Drive sales efficiency, maintain customer satisfaction, and contribute to the achievement of sales targets and business objectives from Almita’s client base consisting primarily of installers and end users
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate closely with the internal PSD team to provide comprehensive support and assistance.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Review RFQ’s and prepare accurate quotes and sales documents as needed.
- Provide end-to-end sales support to customers, ensuring their needs are met from initial contact to post-sales follow-up.
- Create customer orders and purchase orders in our system, liaising with manufacturing, shipping, and third parties as required.
- Assist in managing third-party yards, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate shipping logistics.
- Process customer payments, provide receipts, and act as a liaison between the Finance team and customers.
- Maintain accurate project tracking documentation and generate pending sales reports as needed.
- Support the achievement of product sales revenue targets and margin targets by collaborating with the sales team and providing regular updates for sales forecasts.
- Act as a strong advocate for customers within the organization, ensuring their needs are met and issues are addressed promptly.
- Assist with internal training initiatives, participate in trade shows, and contribute to creating marketing materials as required.
- Stay informed about competitors' strategies to help Almita Piling Inc. maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years previous order desk/ insides ales experience preferred (construction / landscaping products).
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
- Experience in order taking within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent multi-tasker, detail oriented and works well under pressure.
- Motivated self-starter and effective team player.
Work Environment:
- Remote work environment with the expectation of one day in office to Ponoka AB a week or as may be required from time to time
- Working hours are 6:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday but can vary as required.
- Fast paced with tight deadlines.
- Regular work schedule based on 40 hour work week.
- On-call duties/after-hours support
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as per company and client policies
