This is a 3 month contract working 14 days on 7 off in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Camp accommodations will be provided.
Role Purpose:
The Field QA/QC Coordinator supports the Quality Management System(QMS) based on ISO 9001 standards. Responsibilities include reconciling documentation, collaborating with multiple internal teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with various teams to meet deadlines and maintain high organizational productivity.
- Maintain documentation for compliance with quality program standards.
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation.
- Reconcile product specifications and installation data.
- Liaise with clients, QA/QC personnel, and other departments.
- Manage data in spreadsheets and databases.
- Understand the customers and their quality requirements (i.e. Quality Plans, ITP and Turnover) in conjunction with Almita’s QMS.
- Assist with NDE coordination and management of welding data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of quality auditing and investigation techniques.
Experience:
- 1+ years of QA/QC experience.
- 3+ years in office administration, record keeping, and filing.
- 1+ year experience with Turnover documentation and data packages.
- 1+ years in Manufacturing or Construction related experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills.
- Experience with program coordination, quality assurance, and ISO 9001 preferred.
- Experience in construction inspection activities.
Work Environment:
- Primarily a construction environment with occasional office work.
- Travel to remote locations may be required.
- Exposure to loud noises, extreme temperatures, and physical elements.
- Fast-paced with tight deadlines
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
