About the Role

Almita Piling is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimating Lead to oversee our estimating operations. In this role, you will manage the preparation of accurate and competitive bids, develop strategies to meet revenue and margin goals, and lead a high-performing team. This position is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for construction estimating.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of estimators to ensure accurate and timely project bids.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue and improve margins.
• Analyze bid performance and refine processes for greater efficiency and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to align estimating practices with organizational goals.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Lead and manage major project proposal submissions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, preferably in deep foundation, helical, or driven pile projects.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team.
• Strong background in client relations and field construction operations.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Power Transmission & Distribution, or Commercial Construction (preferred).

Work Environment:

• Hybrid: one day a week required to be in Ponoka facility.
• Fast paced with tight deadlines
• Regular work schedule based on 40 hour work week
• Work schedule may vary
• On-call duties/after-hours support
